Week 69: The Wie Bitte? Sisters

Hoi zäme!

Another week down! We were busy again this week, but that's how it is sometimes. We were able to get our German class at the refugee camp set up. It was pretty successful, and the people there were so kind!

I was on tausch this week with Sister Bauman! We had a really nice day together, and we reminisced on our time in Singen and Schaffhausen. We realized that we were no longer the "Wie bitte? Sisters". That was a nickname that we had given ourselves because we were both so young on the mission when we were together. We didn't understand German and we were ALWAYS asking people "Wie bitte?" (Come again?). But now, we don't have to ask that nearly as much.

I hope you all have a good week! Bis später!

Liebe Grüße,

Sister Gladwell

3. We walked in on a feminist rally while we were street finding in Bern. Sister Bauman and I joined in just a little bit by chanting things like, "Gott liebt seine Töchter" and "Eva war eine schlaue Frau"

4. Picking some cherries from the cherry tree next to our apartment

5. On the way to church
