Week 66: The Basel Ausstellung

Hoi zäme!

We had another great week! It was just REALLY busy, which is okay. I honestly prefer having too much to do as a missionary, than not having much to do at all. :)

I also want to share a cool experience that happened this week. Sister Bréant and I were in Basel for an Ausstellung. Basel is such a beautiful city, but I've never had that much luck finding there. Unfortunately, this past weekend wasn't any different.

Sister Bréant and I had gotten so many rejections. She told me that she was feeling pretty bummed and didn't have a lot of motivation to keep finding. I was feeling that way too, but then I felt like the Holy Ghost reminded me of something. At every Ausstellung, there is always at least one person that needs us. I have seen this happen literally every single time, so I told that to Sister Bréant. Right as I said that, we saw a man walking towards us. I felt like we needed to stop him, and Sister Bréant obviously felt the same because she stopped him.

We had a good conversation with him, and he asked us where we were from. When Sister Bréant said that she was from France, his face lit up. He started speaking to her in French and he explained that he was from Geneva.

Sister Bréant and this man had a really good conversation, and we all felt the Spirit so strongly (even if I don't understand French). Afterwards, Sister Bréant told me that she felt like she was here for that man. Heavenly Father truly knows His children, and He'll place us in the paths of people that need help.

That's all for now! Ich wünsche euch eine schöne Woche!

Liebe Grüße,

Sister Gladwell
