Week 62: Frühlingsfest
Hallo zusammen!
We had another really great week! It was pretty rainy the whole time, but the weather is slowly getting a bit nicer, and that means that people on the street are getting a bit nicer too.
Last Tuesday, we went to Frühlingsfest in Munich. It's basically just a little carnival with lots of good food, games, and rides. I sat next to Sister Morris for most of the rides, and that was hilarious! She is not the biggest fan of rides, so she was screaming the whole time. I don't blame her because some of the rides were surprisingly scary. There was one that took you up in the air and it would swing back and forth, rising a bit higher with each swing. Eventually, it got so high that we were hanging upside-down in the air. By the time we were done, we all felt sick, so we just took it easy for the rest of our p-day.
We also had a tausch with the Munich 1 sisters this week. We unfortunately weren't able to get any appointments with friends or members, so we used the time to deliver a Book of Mormon to someone who lived out in the middle of nowhere.
We met a man on the street last week, and he came to church! He was so excited to be there! He asked to take pictures with us and the bishop so that he could send them to his family in Romania. It was so wholesome.
Another week for the books! Ich wünsche euch eine schöne Woche! Bis nächstes Mal!
Liebe Grüße,
Sister Gladwell
