Week 45: Indoors
Hoi Zäme!
We didn't really do much this week because poor Sister Ferrante has been sick with a cold the entire time. Luckily she's feeling better now, so my last week in Biel will be a good one.
On p-day, we stayed inside so Sister Ferrante could get some rest, and we watched "The Prince of Egypt". It's such a good movie, so it was nice to jam out to all the songs together.
The next day, Sister Ferrante had a bit of energy. We went to go help out at a Book of Mormon marathon with the youth in our ward. It was pretty intense! They read the entire Book of Mormon together over the course of 3 days. They stayed overnight at our bishop's house, and just read for 3 days straight. I don't know how they did it haha!
On New Year's Eve, the Burgdorf sisters came to help us out. Sister Morris stayed home with Sister Ferrante, and Sister Bergmann came with me so I could get out of the house a bit. We just went to drop off cards to some less-active members. (I had a lot of time this week to paint cards haha)
Sunday was nice. We went to church, Sister Ferrante rested a bit, and then we went on a walk with the Horselys. The Horselys are a senior couple that were serving in Stuttgart, but they just finished their mission. Sister Horsely actually grew up in Biel, so they've been staying here for a few weeks since they've finished.
Even though it wasn't a typical missionary week, it was a good one! I hope this coming week is a nice one for you all too! Bis später!
Liebe Grüße,
Sister Gladwell
