Week 41: To Stuttgart And Back…All In A Day
Hoi zäme!
It's been a crazy week. Transfers were on Wednesday! My new comp is named Sister Ferrante. She's from Germany (I guess President thought I needed to work on my German haha) and is super sweet! We've already had such a blast together!
On Thursday, we woke up at 4:30 am to go to a quasi-mission conference in Stuttgart. I say "quasi" because only the missionaries from Switzerland and Stuttgart zone were there. Elder Kopischke was visiting us, and talked to us about a lot of things. What stuck out to me the most was that in order to find His sheep, we need to use the voice of the Shepherd as we teach. He taught us to primarily use the scriptures when we're teaching and focusing on how the scriptures affect the people we're teaching. It's a simple idea but a very powerful and helpful reminder.
I had a tausch this week with Sister Hunter while Sister Ferrante was in Munich for a leadership conference. We ended up going finding in the town center that evening. The Christmas markets are all set up, so it was really busy! We gave out a Book of Mormon to a man that said he wasn't interested, but he said that he'd give it to someone who needs it. We may be getting a referral from someone who isn't even interested haha! To celebrate, we bought some churros and ate them on the way home.
Those are some of the highlights from the week. It was a crazy week but a good week! Bis nächstes Mal!
Liebe Grüße,
Sister Gladwell
