Week 31: Lost in Oberried

Hallo zusammen!!

Things picked up quite a bit this week. To be fair, I don't think things could have gotten any slower after last week haha. We got to spend a lot of time with our district this week with an Ausstellung and district council, so that was really fun.

Last Tuesday, we went to Brienzersee. Sister Smith and I accidently got off at the wrong stop because we don't have a Swiss SIM card, and we couldn't view our travel plan. We had to call the other Sisters on someone's phone, but we eventually found our way there. We didn't get to spend much time there because of it, but I didn't mind too much. I was just happy to be able to be there with the other Sisters in my zone.

On Friday, Sister Smith and I had a lesson with the Schaffhausen Elders. It was with a member in the Schaffhausen branch that Sister Smith and I knew. She is so busy with work and with her children that she hasn't been able to come to church in a while. However, she still has a strong testimony of the gospel, and her boys want to be baptized. We were able to meet up with one of her boys, and talk a little bit about the first lesson.

We had an Ausstellung planned on Saturday, but ended up doing a social media Ausstellung instead due to the weather. I am not the biggest fan of social media finding, so I had to get out of my comfort zone a little bit. It was a good experience regardless of my discomfort the entire time haha. We worked on a video with the Elders in our district to post to social media, but it was honestly a mess, so we'll see if anything ever comes of it haha!

That's another week for the books! I hope you all have a good week!

Liebe Grüße,

Sister Gladwell
