Week 29: A New Friend

Hallo zusammen!

We have seen quite a few miracles this week with finding friends! We are really working hard, but it's been amazing to watch how the Spirit leads us to the people that God wants us to meet.

We have a new friend! He is 88 years old and is the cutest man ever! We met him on the train a few weeks ago. He saw our name tags, and he was really excited. We gave him the address and the time that church started. We said goodbye, and I didn't think much of it because we invite a lot of people to church, but rarely get to see them there. A few days went by, and he came to church! It turns out that he lived in the U.S. for some time, and his neighbors were members of the Church. They were really nice to him and took him under their wings. We are now teaching him, and he is so happy to meet with us! It's so cool to see how others' Christlike love continues to have an impact on him.

We went to Mt. Rigi last p-day. It was nice because we got to spend a lot of time just relaxing on the mountain and enjoying some alpine views.

It really was such a good week! I'm so grateful to be here and to meet all these wonderful people! I hope this upcoming week is good for you all too!
