Week 23: Beschäftigt!
Hallo zusammen!
We had a really busy week! We had so many appointments with our friends and members. That being said, it was also a hard week for me. It still isn't easy for me to adjust to a new comp and leading out my area, but those are the ups and downs of missionary life I guess!
We spent last p-day in Zürich with the Luzern and Schwammedigen Sisters. We didn't have a ton of time because we had an appointment scheduled for the evening. So, we spent the morning just walking around the Altstadt and sightseeing. We then went to the Lindt chocolate factory again because only Sister Marriott and I had been there. No complaints though, I was in heaven haha!
We met with a lot of members during the week. I just have so much love for them! They really are amazing people!
We went to an Ausstellung on Saturday in Zürich. It got off to a really interesting start because some man there was very against the church. He started yelling, and getting up in our faces a little bit. He also took a Book of Mormon, and threw it into the road. Luckily, a member was there, so he called the police, and things were sorted out. We continued with the Ausstellung, and I felt like we were able to have some very good conversations despite some of the people speaking to us in Swiss German haha!
I mentioned earlier that it's been a difficult week, so I've just been so grateful for my Savior. I know that He knows me, that He's been where I've been, and He's felt what I've felt. He knows what I've felt, and He has overcome what I've felt. He has and will continue to help me overcome what I am feeling. I have also seen how he has put people in my path to help me.
I'm also just so grateful for you all and for your support! Ich hab euch lieb!
Große Liebe,
Sister Gladwell
