Week 4: My Last Week at the MTC
Hallo Friends and Family!
This will be my last email from the MTC. Next week, I'll be in the field! This week was a lot more eventful!
Last Friday, I bought a giant chocolate egg just for fun, and I busted it out in the middle of class. It was eaten really fast, so I didn't have to worry about eating the entire thing.
The entire week was filled with learning German again. Our teacher actually had us do an "English fast" in which we couldn't speak English for the entire day. I survived it by not speaking as much and saying "sehr gut" a lot. It was really difficult, but our teacher got us McFlurries, so I'd say it was worth it. Even though I've made a lot of progress with German, I don't feel ready to go to Germany. However, I have the faith that everything will be alright.
For P day today, we went to Chorley again. I bought some more chocolate to add to my stash, and we walked through a really beautiful park. There was actually a little zip line there, so the other Sisters and I tested it out. I was wearing a dress, so I had to be careful that I didn't flash anyone haha.
Those are just a few highlights from my week. I love you all lots, and I'm so thankful for all your support!
Große Liebe,
Sister Gladwell
